For all the following programs, consistent with the principles of Christian charity and the demands of fairness and good stewardship, all clients are screened carefully to verify their eligibility based upon residency, income, household status, and prior assistance. The St. Dominic Outreach Center will assist any one of our neighbors living within our service area without regard to race, religion, age, gender or ethnic heritage.

Clannad Cribs and Tots Program (CCATS)
New mothers may qualify for a new crib and mattress set for newborn babies. The mother needs to be referred by Catholic Family Services or by any of the Outreach Center's partner agencies. Eligibility is based on current income and address. The CCATS program is available to mothers living anywhere in Detroit. Mothers may contact the Outreach Center before the child is born, but crib sets will be delivered only after the child is born. A birth certificate, a statement of income, and proof of a current Detroit address must be presented.
Hygiene Kits
St. Dominic Outreach Center provides kits containing soap, toothpaste, shampoo, razors, and many other toiletries following the same guidelines outlined above for the Food Pantry.
Back to School Supplies
In early September, the Outreach Center distributes notebooks, backpacks, pens, paper, and other school supplies to children living in the neighborhoods within the zip codes we serve. Flyers are distributed in mid August to serve as a reminder to families wishing to contact the Center. Families must provide proof of their current address.
Community Events
Families served by the Outreach Center in the previous year are contacted and informed about holiday food baskets or community events such as the "Summer Fun Day" picnic, the "Back to School" party, and the Christmas "Holiday Party." Families wishing to attend may contact the Center for an interview to establish eligibility based on income and address. Eligibility is restricted.
